CONGRATULATIONS!!
May I first congratulate you both on your forthcoming marriage
and hope that I can contribute towards making your day special.
Planning your
wedding photography:
- Communication
Communication is the key to obtaining the best photographs for
your wedding. I am increasingly being asked for a more reportage/story
book style in wedding photography incorporating black &
white and in a more candid manner. I am always happy to discuss your individual requirements in detail by
prior arrangement, when I can show you a portfolio &
sample wedding albums.
- The
Coverage
The coverage for Gold /Silver service would normally begin with
an informal pre-wedding picture of Bride & Groom to start
the album. This could be taken 3-4 weeks before the actual ceremony
and normally works better in Black & White.
On the actual day a visit to the Bride's leaving address possibly
up to 2 hours before the ceremony to take any 'candids' during
the last minute preparations as well as the more formal shots
- then off to the church / venue, probably a good 40 minutes
before the bride leaves home, to photograph Groom, Best Man
and Leading Players - Bride's arrival at the church / venue and
the ceremony (if permitted) including the signing of the register.
Then the main wedding photographs taken in the location previously
discussed with you. This could be at the church / venue, local
park, reception or indeed a mixture of all three.
- Reception
Normally at the reception I would ask you to perform an early false
cutting of the cake for photographic purposes as well as champagne
toasts etc., unless you require my presence further.
There is no set limit to the number of pictures taken (on average
I would take in excess of 150 shots).
- After
the wedding proofs
Your proofs will be ready in approximately 12-14 days after
the wedding date (or sooner by arrangement).
You can then choose your selection of 50 prints (I will be happy
to advise) to be included in your album. Parents' albums, Guests'
albums and individual photographs can be ordered at the same
time, and there is no time limit on selection (the average is 4-6
weeks).
